Our collective is called ‘Úna Gan a Gúna’ after a nonsense song some of us remember singing in secondary school in Cork in 1980: “Tá Úna Gan A Gúna, Tá Séine Gan A Léine”. It meant, as we remember it, “Úna is without her dress, Shane is without his shirt” – do you remember it? The song comes from a great skit on comhrá and sex education (or not) by Maureen Potter as Sister Gonzago from the late 1970s - you can watch it on YouTube.
