In May we said goodbye to one of our wonderful volunteers, Emma. Here is her reflection on her time volunteering at Úna Gan a Gúna:

“Thank you for all of your support and training. It meant a lot to me to be a part of Úna - especially while unable to work - and I will be very happy to continue to share Úna's work with my network here. For me, having a diaspora/border identity can often feel like your perspective never quite fits or there's not room for storytelling with nuance. Úna's inclusive ethos was the exact opposite and I'm so appreciative I got to experience that. Thank you!”
